Studies and experience show caregivers need to set limits, care for themselves, and involve others in caregiving tasks. Caregivers, however, don't always know what help is available or how to access these services. Many times they have waited too long in seeking assistance and respite from caregiving tasks. The following links can be used to gain more information on services and information. Your local Area Agency on Aging has the Iowa Family Caregiver Program in place and a Specialist who can guide and assist you in finding the help you need. Find a Specialist near you
